{"id":951881,"date":"2026-07-21T22:18:15","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T22:18:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/951881\/"},"modified":"2026-07-21T22:18:15","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T22:18:15","slug":"49ers-spend-summer-giving-back-through-youth-football-camps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/951881\/","title":{"rendered":"49ers Spend Summer Giving Back Through Youth Football Camps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mykel Williams Inspires His Hometown<\/p>\n<p>Defensive lineman <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.49ers.com\/team\/players-roster\/mykel-williams\/\" title=\"Mykel Williams\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mykel Williams<\/a> returned to Columbus, Georgia, to host his second annual youth football camp at Odis Spencer Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The former Hardaway High School standout worked with local athletes ages 13-17, leading drills while sharing lessons from his path to becoming a first-round NFL Draft pick.<\/p>\n<p>For Williams, the camp represented something bigger than football.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is cool just to be able to come back, period,&#8221; Williams <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wtvm.com\/2026\/06\/13\/mykel-williams-returns-columbus-host-2nd-annual-youth-football-camp\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told WTVM News<\/a>. &#8220;To come back and give back to the community, man, it means the world. This is something I really aspire to do, come back and inspire the youth in my community and give back.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added that watching local athletes grow and enjoy the game remains his favorite part of the event.<\/p>\n<p>Mac Jones Heads Home to Jacksonville<\/p>\n<p>Quarterback <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.49ers.com\/team\/players-roster\/mac-jones\/\" title=\"Mac Jones\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mac Jones<\/a> returned to familiar surroundings in Jacksonville, Florida, hosting a youth football camp alongside current athletes from The Bolles School, where he starred during his high school career.<\/p>\n<p>Designed for athletes ages six to 16, the camp featured skill stations, interactive drills and opportunities for campers to connect with Jones throughout the day.
