He won two Super Bowls and went to another, and he’ll find himself in the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day. It’s interesting to look at Roethlisberger’s play style throughout his career, too. While his nickname was Big Ben, he was a good athlete, especially in his younger years.

Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees tried to bring light to that recently. Appearing on The Dan Patrick Show, Brees was asked if he thinks that he was faster than Roethlisberger during their playing days. Brees said no, and he also added that Roethlisberger was “quite the athlete.” Go back and look at Roethlisberger near the start of his career to see proof.

We’re sorry, the video cannot be played with adblocker enabled.

Please disable your adblocker and refresh the page, or go ad-free!

RYAN CLARK’S MESSAGE

Ryan Clark was a key piece of the Steelers’ defense from 2006-2013. While other players like Troy Polamalu and James Harrison received more attention, Clark was also important to Pittsburgh’s success. His playing career ended a while ago, but he’s still been involved in football, working as an analyst. Unfortunately, he was laid off recently, with ESPN parting ways with him.

Clark took to Twitter to share a statement after being let go, and it doesn’t sound like he’s letting it keep him down. He’s sending positive vibes to others who are being let go, hoping this is an opportunity for him to do bigger and better things. We’ll see where Clark’s journey takes him next.

Sending prayers and love to all those laid off today by ESPN. So many of you have poured your life into that company, & I know how you’re feeling right now.

My hope is as this door closes another opens for you all. That includes recently posting that he reunited with his estranged family. While Rodgers’ relationship with his family seemed like it was on the rocks for a while, it seems like they’ve mended ties.

The Athletic’s Ian O’Connor, who wrote a book on Rodgers, shared some details on Twitter about Rodgers’ family reunion. It sounds like it all started a few years ago, with Rodgers and his father sharing a moment in 2023. Now, he’s let the world know that he and his family aren’t as distant as they once were.

On Aaron Rodgers & his family, they had been working towards reconciliation for a while. Rodgers invited parents Ed & Darla to his Pleasant Valley High School Hall of Fame induction in April & introduced them to the crowd to applause, thanked them for their support.
