By 2004, he was a first-team All-Pro, the first of two such honors. He would go on to make six Pro Bowls and win the 2009 \u201cWalter Payton Man of the Year\u201d award.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">His coolest accomplishment, however, was earning the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award after the Chiefs beat the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefalcoholic.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta Falcons<\/a> 56-10 with eight rushing touchdowns in 2004.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">He started through the 2010 season, aiding that year\u2019s team in winning the AFC West. He would go on to make a Pro Bowl with the <a href=\"https:\/\/patspulpit.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New England Patriots<\/a> as well. He was inducted into the Chiefs\u2019 Ring of Honor in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>54: The number of points accounted for by Kareem Hunt last season<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The eight touchdowns scored by running back Kareem Hunt accounted for 54 points, the most of any Chiefs player besides kicker Harrison Butker last season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Hunt is still a free agent at 30 years old; should he still be an option in the backfield by the time Kansas City gets to Week 1?
