Based on 25 years of history, the NFL would call hitting on both of two offensive tackles drafted with first-round picks in back-to-back years \u201ca lightning strike,\u201d but maybe the hard-luck Jets are due for just that kind of rarity.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom a talent perspective, absolutely they both can be those type of tackles,\u201d ESPN NFL analyst Damien Woody, a former Jets right tackle, told The Post. \u201cDid Breece pull the trigger a little too early? Maybe. But the Jets might have hit the jackpot with both of these guys, and if you do that, it sets the table for your offense for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n
