We&#8217;re not going to try to host Women&#8217;s World Cup. We&#8217;re not trying to get Taylor Swift and Beyonce back here. I mean, at the end of the day, Metro is going to be the key to the success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clarke told councilmembers he expects the Stadium-Armory Metro station to be one of the busiest once the stadium opens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf 38,000 people for an event could use Metro \u2013 just to give some context on that \u2013 that&#8217;s like up to three Nats games all leaving at the same time,\u201d he has said.<\/p>\n<p>The new stadium is expected to open in time for the 2030 NFL season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Metro signed two reimbursement agreements related to the Washington Commanders stadium projects.
