Michael Irvin expressed his excitement through his self-named YouTube show, \u201cWe have a new head coach. We have new things going on. I wanted to see how things are being implemented.Full speed in practice. I said competition under pressure. I\u2019m telling you – I like what I saw. I like how he(Brian Schottenheimer) is handling it. I like how the coach goes about it. We had a great practice. We started off – it was crisp. Everybody was hyped. They were making all kinds of plays. We went on the field.\u201d<\/p>\n

The NFL legend mentions the hype around Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. Irvin shared, \u201cEverybody talking about Washington. Everybody telling about Philadelphia. And the Cowboys got the hardest edge we\u2019ve ever seen – oh my god, oh my god, oh my god – No. No. No. What you all are trying to do when you\u2019re saying all of that – is create this fear and anxiety.But what I saw today was what I needed to see. So I can tell you – that sh*t ain\u2019t gonna work because I saw a man(Brian Schottenheimer) that\u2019s trying to grab all of this opportunity that he has. And he\u2019s changing that culture.And he\u2019s done one thing that I hold true – you must make people comfortable. Two things: competing like a mother, brother, and then pressure. And why I didn\u2019t put talent in here for you guys is – to understand that talent\u2019s going to vary. And talent matters when we\u2019re the freshest.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019m telling you – If they continue like this and hold on to what I saw today, I can real damn tell you: we will shock the world because they got the talent.I always told you they have the skill and the intensity now, and the players together now, creating every situation as a competition under pressure.
