The week from hell is over for yours truly, and we are back to mostly normal. After a vacation with the family, we had a move we had to get done, but we are all setup and ready to go now and back into the groove.<\/p>\n
Now, we start back with our normal work.<\/p>\n

To kick the week off, PFF took a look at the best rookie for each team in the PFF era, and the ghosts of Linebackers past made an appearance.<\/p>\n
From PFF:<\/a><\/p>\n Arizona Cardinals<\/a>: LB Daryl Washington, 2010 (86.9)<\/p>\n After being selected out of TCU<\/a> in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft<\/a>, Washington was the Cardinals\u2019 highest-graded defender as a rookie. His 40 defensive stops ranked fourth among his teammates, even though he played just 518 snaps for the year. He earned high PFF grades across the board, particularly in run defense and coverage.<\/p>\n This is why trying to replicate or chase ghosts is dangerous.<\/p>\n Steve Keim literally spent his entire tenure trying to find the next D-Wash and used more draft capital on off ball linebackers on day one\/two than he did on offensive linemen in the top 100 in his entire tenure.<\/p>\n What do you think?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Happy Sunday one and all.
