The Detroit Lions announced on Tuesday that the highly anticipated \u201crivalry\u201d uniforms will be worn during the team\u2019s Week 8 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know what it looks like and I think fans are going to like it,\u201d Wood said. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty cool. It connects to our uniform but it\u2019s, like you saw some of the ones last year, it\u2019ll add little wrinkle to things.\u201d<\/p>\n
Coincidentally, the Vikings have already announced that they will wear their rivalry uniforms in the home matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 15 on \u201cSunday Night Football.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year, both the NFC North and AFC South will debut their uniforms. Last year was the debut of rivalry uniforms, with the AFC East and NFC West donning their styles.
