The Wisconsin Badgers have land a commitment from 2026 three-star linebacker Ben Wenzel, he announced on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Wenzel is the second commitment for the day, joining three-star defensive lineman Arthur Scott, and is also the second of this official visit cycle for the Badgers.<\/p>\n
An in-state player from Appleton, Wisconsin, Wenzel was a late offer for the Badgers, getting his just two weeks ago.<\/p>\n
Nonetheless, it evidently meant quite a bit to the three-star, as Wisconsin beat out Oklahoma for the linebacker in what essentially was a two-team battle.<\/p>\n
He becomes the second linebacker to commit and the ninth player to verbally pledge for the Badgers in the 2026 class, and there\u2019s more to come from a busy weekend.<\/p>\n
