Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston was first to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/aaronwilson_nfl\/status\/2087698126207402155?s=46&amp;t=qP7mC8IbCPUtgT8MiHbUsg\" rel=\"nofollow\">report<\/a> the signing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Hasty, 29, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The Baylor product was picked up by the 49ers and via the practice squad made his way onto the 53-man roster. He appeared in 22 total games over his two years with the club, but was cut ahead of the 2022 season. He joined the Jaguars as a waiver claim and delivered the most productive season of his career in his first year in Jacksonville, registering 66 touches, 320 yards, 3 touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Hasty failed to build on his success and was let go again by Jaguars during the 2023 regular season. This, in turn, allowed the Patriots to bring him in as a waiver claim of their own.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Over his one and a half seasons in Foxborough, Hasty was used as a depth running back and kickoff return option. Overall, he played 17 games for the club between 2023 and 2024 and touched the ball 30 times for 128 yards and a touchdown while also averaging 23.8 yards on 10 kickoff returns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Hasty was let go by the Patriots ahead of last year\u2019s roster cuts and subsequently spent the 2025 season on Miami\u2019s practice squad.
