{"id":972321,"date":"2026-08-13T19:57:26","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T19:57:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/972321\/"},"modified":"2026-08-13T19:57:26","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T19:57:26","slug":"rtd-ramping-up-service-for-busy-denver-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/972321\/","title":{"rendered":"RTD ramping up service for busy Denver weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DENVER \u2014 From the first Broncos preseason game to Banana Ball at Coors Field to Zach Bryan\u2019s two-night stint at Empower Field at Mile High, Denver has a busy weekend on tap.<\/p>\n<p>The area Regional Transportation District (RTD) said it&#8217;s prepared for all the traffic, expecting an increase in ridership to all the events. The agency is planning to deploy additional transit police and railway cars to some lines to accommodate.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the full story in the video player below.<\/p>\n<p>RTD ramping up service for busy Denver weekend<\/p>\n<p>While service will be normal on the A, B and G lines headed to Union Station \u2014 which is less than half a mile from Coors Field \u2014 RTD is adding extra cars to the C, E, W and N lines.<\/p>\n<p>Buses to Empower Field will stick to their usual weekend service schedules. RTD is recommending Broncos fans and concert attendees take Routes 30 or 31 along Federal Boulevard or use Routes 1, 15L and 16.<\/p>\n<p>Another option is to take the RTD rail or local routes 0, 9, 10, 15, 20 or 32 to Union Station before hopping on the Flatiron Flyer to light rails E and W to Empower Field.<\/p>\n<p>RTD is recommending that riders use the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/app.rtd-denver.com\/nextride\/plan?tripPlan=%7B%22mbm%22%3A3%2C%22mtt%22%3A2700%2C%22mwm%22%3A1.5%2C%22mdm%22%3A30%2C%22mtht%22%3A180%2C%22trvlm%22%3A%22mode_transit%22%2C%22trnsm%22%3A%5B%22mode_bus%22%2C%22mode_rail%22%2C%22mode_flex%22%5D%2C%22opt%22%3A%22TIME%22%2C%22dt%22%3A%22now%22%2C%22tt%22%3A%22%22%2C%22orig%22%3Anull%2C%22dest%22%3Anull%7D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">NextRide planning tool<\/a> to choose their route.
