{"id":97567,"date":"2025-06-02T08:01:11","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T08:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/97567\/"},"modified":"2025-06-02T08:01:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T08:01:11","slug":"new-england-patriots-prompt-right-wing-freak-out-with-pride-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/97567\/","title":{"rendered":"New England Patriots Prompt Right-Wing Freak Out With Pride Post"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some conservatives absolutely lost it on Sunday after the New England Patriots <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Patriots\/status\/1929161013326164240\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:posted an image;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">posted an image<\/a>\u00a0online to mark the first day of Pride Month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe celebrate together,\u201d the NFL team captioned a picture showing the LGBTQ+ pride flag on the big screen at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPride is a sin,\u201d commented one user on X, the Elon Musk-owned platform formerly named Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re so sick of this,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n<p>Added a third: \u201cNo we don\u2019t. It is Veterans Appreciation Month. I see why Tom Brady left y\u2019all. Disgusting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some claimed to have \u201cfixed\u201d the image by swapping the pride flag for the Stars and Stripes.
