It\u2019s also on new expected starting quarterback Kirk Cousins. The quarterback, of course, plays a role in avoiding acks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">And last season, while with the Atlanta Falcons, Cousins did a good job of avoiding sacks. According to NFL analyst Warren Sharp, Cousins was sacked on 12.7 percent of his quarterback pressures That was the seventh best rate in the NFL. Contrastly, Raiders\u2019 quarterback Geno Smith was sacked on 28.1 percent of his pressures.
