I was taking a walk on Sunday and I found a video on YouTube by That\u2019s Good Sports<\/a>, it\u2019s a fun channel and the host had a video about some of the toughest NFL performances after an injury. One of the players he talked about early in the video is Los Angeles Rams<\/a> great Jack Youngblood. <\/p>\n

Admittedly, Youngblood was before my time, but I guess he played a couple\/few games with a broken leg? That\u2019s insane. I get a sprain and I\u2019m icing that up for a week, he had a broken leg and decided he could still play some NFL games.<\/p>\n

Dude\u2019s different. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Terrance Ferguson reveals which Rams player has helped him the most so far<\/a> (ramswire)<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though the Rams essentially drafted Ferguson to be Higbee\u2019s replacement<\/a>, the veteran nicknamed \u201cHigs\u201d has no problem helping the rookie along. When asked which players have helped him the most, Ferguson immediately mentioned Higbee.<\/p>\n

\u201cHigs is someone who jumps right off the bat,\u201d Ferguson said this week. \u201cI would say all the tight ends, though, have really leaned in and really helped me out \u2013 whether it\u2019s the playbook, little subtle things that makes Higs great, being a veteran guy like that knowing and playing a lot of ball. Just being willing to pour into a young guy like me. I would say Higs has been especially big.\u201d<\/p>\n

10 Observations from the first week of OTAs <\/p>\n

\u201cAfter posting a solid 65.0 PFF pass-blocking grade in 2023, left guard Steve Avila saw his 2024 season marred by an early injury,\u201d PFF writes. \u201cHe also lost valuable preseason reps at guard while going through a temporary trial at center. The Rams will need Avila to greatly improve upon his 50.6 PFF pass-blocking grade from last season in order to protect their aging quarterback.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pass protection as a whole is a big question mark for the Rams. Should they want to repeat as NFC West champions and make a run at their second Super Bowl<\/a> of the Matthew Stafford era, they will need to keep the veteran quarterback upright.\u201d<\/p>\n

Random Ramsdom Fandom: Interesting to think of Kyle Pitts in Rams gear<\/a> (By Benzo 666<\/a> on May 31, 2025)<\/p>\n

\u201cI just saw that Falcons are taking calls RE-possibly trading Pitts for a Day 2 draft pick. Considering most pundits were calling him the \u201ccan\u2019t miss pick\u201d of his draft class, IMO he hasn\u2019t lived up to those proclamations. However maybe a change of scenery is what he needs? Part of me likes to wonder what McVay could do w\/a TE w\/elite athleticism.<\/p>\n

So far McVay has always kind of gotten a compromise when it comes to the draft. In \u201817 he had his eyes on Engram but he was long gone by the time Rams drafted Everett in Rd.2. Then last season apparently Rams tried to move up to draft last season rookie phenom Brock Bowers. This past April they used their 2nd Rd pick to take Ferguson whom they said they would have picked had they not moved back. I always take those kind of statements with a hefty dose of salt.<\/p>\n

I have a suspicion that Pitts has work-ethic issues. There have been whispers RE-his knowledge of the playbook. For the Falcons, a team grooming a promising young QB while at the same time looking to deal a player drafted in the top five, at a position considered a young QB\u2019s(& veteran QB\u2019s for that matter)security blanket makes me wonder about possible other issues beyond said work-ethic.<\/p>\n

All that said, with Higbee coming back and having just spent a high draft pick on a TE the Rams apparently really like, I highly doubt the Rams will be one of the Falcons possible trade partners.\u201d<\/p>\n
