Eight of the opening 10 selections in the\u00a02025 NFL Draft<\/a>\u00a0will be eligible to capture this year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. However, three of those picks were offensive tackles, and an offensive lineman has never won the award. Beyond those selections, there are various first-round quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs who should contend for the prestigious award.<\/p>\n

With training camp looming, FanDuel’s NFL futures prop betting landscape for the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year honor has taken shape. The top options shake out as follows:<\/p>\n

THE FAVORITE: Ashton Jeanty<\/p>\n

Las Vegas Raiders<\/a>\u00a0running back\u00a0Ashton Jeanty<\/a>\u00a0is a straightforward frontrunner. Jeanty is the\u00a0highest-drafted running back<\/a>\u00a0at No. 6 overall since\u00a0Saquon Barkley<\/a>\u00a0was the second overall selection (and eventual OROY winner) in 2018.
The Raiders invested such a high selection in a non-premium position because head coach\u00a0Pete Carroll<\/a>\u00a0believes in fielding a throwback, run-heavy offense. Volume is often half the battle in the OROY conversation and Jeanty should receive a ton of carries this season.\u00a0Jeanty<\/a>\u00a0is a legitimate candidate to lead the league in rushing as a rookie. Such an accomplishment would all but guarantee him OROY honors.<\/p>\n

MY PICK: Omarion Hampton<\/p>\n

Perhaps this is bold, but\u00a0Omarion Hampton<\/a>‘s\u00a0+1400 odds are awfully tempting. Three of the last four OROY winners played for playoff teams. Analyzing this list, the rookies with top-five odds all play for rebuilding squads, and Hampton’s\u00a0Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>\u00a0are the highest-listed team that qualified for the postseason in 2024.
The one caveat for\u00a0Hampton<\/a>\u00a0(something the oddsmakers have likely taken into consideration) is the presence of veteran free-agent addition\u00a0Najee Harris<\/a>\u00a0alongside him in the backfield.\u00a0Jim Harbaugh<\/a>\u2019s Chargers ran the football on 463 occasions last season\u201411th-most in the NFL\u2014and they ranked fifth-lowest in passing attempts. Expect another run-first approach from the hard-nosed Chargers in 2025. If the talented Hampton can tip the backfield in his favor, he’ll possess a great shot to win OROY.<\/p>\n

A WORTHY UNDERDOG:\u00a0RJ Harvey<\/p>\n

Denver Broncos<\/a> running back\u00a0RJ Harvey<\/a> possesses intriguing odds at +2000. The Broncos entered the draft desperately needing to come away with a ball-carrier capable of leading their backfield. General manager George Paton selected Harvey at No. 60 overall. They did not acquire another notable running back this offseason.
Harvey<\/a> will compete with Audric Estime<\/a> and Jaleel McLaughlin for lead duties in Sean Payton’s offense. It’s easy to envision the rookie playmaker winning a training camp battle. Estime is more of a short-yardage, goal-to-go back. The Broncos fielded a middling run attack last season (16th) and want to be more consistent around sophomore quarterback Bo Nix<\/a> this year.
