Titans wide receiver Wan\u2019Dale Robinson is being evaluated for a concussion, and Robert Saleh isn\u2019t a fan of how it happened.<\/p>\n
Robinson, 25, took a hard hit from Bears safety Xavier Woods during Thursday\u2019s joint practice with Chicago, kicking off a brief skirmish between the two teams before the ex-Giants receiver walked off under his own power.<\/p>\n
Saleh wasn\u2019t shy about sharing his thoughts after the workout.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was cheap,\u201d Saleh told reporters of the play.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tennessee guard Peter Skoronski also called out Woods, who played for the Titans last season, after practice.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s teach tape 101 in terms of what not to do in a thud practice and a thud period,\u201d Skoronski said. \u201cYou can\u2019t have guys like Wan\u2019Dale going down like that and hits like that aren\u2019t necessary. I get we\u2019re being competitive. I get DBs are physical and stuff like that, but that\u2019s totally uncalled for in a practice thing like this. We defend our teammates. I don\u2019t encourage throwing punches or fighting or anything like that, but if cheap shots are taken on our guys, it\u2019s unacceptable for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Titans quarterback Cam Ward, who threw the pass over the middle that got Robinson hit by Woods, also took some blame for the play.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have to put him in a better situation,\u201d Ward said. \u201cSo that\u2019s really more about me than it is about him. But he\u2019s tough. He got up, and he\u2019s good. I have to make sure I don\u2019t put him in that kind of position again.\u201d<\/p>\n
