FOXBORO \u2014 Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson was absent at Tuesday\u2019s practice, the team\u2019s first since making roster cuts over the weekend.<\/p>\n
Henderson injured his right ankle during a padded practice one week ago, but walked off the field under his own power. He did not appear in any of the team\u2019s three preseason games. Henderson is currently No. 2 on the depth chart behind Rhamondre Stevenson, as is ex-Cardinals running back Corey Kiner, the only other running back on the 53-man roster who was acquired via trade on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Newly-added tight end Cameron Latu, whom the Patriots claimed off waivers from Philadelphia, also did not participate. The Patriots turned the page Tuesday to full-time preparation for their season opener next week in Seattle, where they will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
The Patriots are not required to release their first injury report until this weekend, when they will practice Saturday and Sunday before holding a walkthrough Monday hours before they fly to the West Coast.<\/p>\n
