The eventual Heisman Trophy winner caught 12 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns before halftime of the College Football Playoff national championship game. Smith left with a hand injury early in the third quarter but had already helped Alabama build a 35-17 advantage.

Nabers joined that group while starring for LSU against Mississippi State in 2023. He finished the first half with 188 receiving yards and two touchdowns before closing the afternoon with 13 catches for 239 yards in a dominant Tigers victory.

Your fantasy edge starts here Sync your league for custom roster advice, projections, and tools to win your matchups every week.

Toney’s performance offered another reminder of why he is considered one of college football’s most dynamic playmakers. He consistently created separation, generated yards after the catch, and gave Stanford’s secondary no answers.

Joining a list featuring Smith and Nabers is elite company.
