Aaron Rodgers didn\u2019t mince words while discussing his breakup with ex-girlfriend, former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick \u2014 whom he accused of publicly sharing a false narrative that he\u2019s a \u201cmonster partner.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been years.<\/p>\n \u201cI dated Danica. She had just retired [In November 2017]. She was depressed and not fun to be around. But I didn\u2019t leave her because I was trying to be there and be a good partner. Then it was going a certain direction obviously. And she said, \u2018You know what that means then?\u2019 And I said, \u2018Yeah, that\u2019s the way things are going.\u2019 She said, \u2018Well, let\u2019s get counseling.\u2019 Then we got counseling. Then COVID hits and we\u2019re stuck together.<\/p>\n \u201cShe tells a story that she was so blindsided and getting left by you, and that he leaves a trail of blood around him. And I\u2019m like, what are you talking about? That\u2019s not what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n Rodgers did not name the other woman he said he dated. <\/p>\n Rodgers and Patrick\u00a0called it quits\u00a0in July 2020<\/a>\u00a0after dating for two years.<\/p>\n Patrick discussed their breakup during an appearance on \u201cThe Sage Steele Show\u201d in May 2025. <\/p>\n After his split from Patrick, Rodgers went on to date actress Shailene Woodley, whom he met sometime during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers during an appearance on the \u201cNot just Football\u201d podcast on September 10, 2026.
