Their relationship \u201cremains in a healthy place\u201d despite not coming to terms on an extension. The two sides were said to be a ways apart on the dollar figure, but Jacksonville still has \u201cbig plans\u201d for Washington heading into the 2026 season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Washington can build on his successful 2025 campaign, the Jaguars may come to regret not striking a deal earlier.
