Buffalo Sabres development camp is now underway at LECOM Harborcenter.

Sabres prospects dropped the puck on a week full of on- and off-ice workouts Monday afternoon.

All nine Sabres draft picks from this weekend are in attendance, including the ninth overall pick, defenseman Radim Mrtka.

“It’s more to get to know the organization, get to know the people you’ll be working with for hopefully in the future, getting to know the development staff, American [Hockey] League coaches and a lot of important people behind the scenes,” said Michael Leone, head coach, Rochester Americans.

Sabres owner Terry Pegula and General Manager Kevyn Adams got an up-close look Monday at the prospects.

All on-ice sessions are open to the public. Those are from 1:30-3 p.m. through Thursday.

Development camp wraps up Thursday with a scrimmage.
