Marc McLaughlin will continue his NHL career with the team the Bruins traded him to in March.

The New Jersey Devils signed the Mass. native to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000, according to Puck Pedia. McLaughling played in two games for New Jersey during the 2024-25 season and picked up an assist.

McLaughlin could never quite carve out a full-time role during his with the Bruins, often going between Boston and Providence. Despite a strong training camp ahead of 2022-23 campaign, McLaughlin spent most of the season in Providence, making just one appearance with the Bruins.

In 26 games in parts of four seasons for Boston, McLaughlin scored six goals.

The Bruins traded the 25-year-old to the Devils for defenseman Daniil Misyul.
