With just a few short hours until NHL free agency commences, the Vancouver Canucks have been busy making trades, signing their restricted free-agents and calling teams about how they can improve their team.
Brock Boeser willing to take less after being mistreated by the Vancouver Canucks
Coming into this offseason, one of the teams biggest priorities was to come to an agreement with veteran forward and former 40-goal scorer Brock Boeser, who apparently have not seen eye to eye on what they think he is worth.
#Canucks recently made another run at bringing back pending UFA forward Brock Boeser.
Boeser will be going to market on July 1.” Seravalli said.
This fact was even further reinforced by NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman who claimed that the Edmonton Oilers are strong contenders to land the star winger.
Friedman on 32TP talking Brock Boeser/Oilers rumours: “I don’t know how Edmonton fits this all in, but I don’t think the idea is wrong. I don’t think that’s impossible that Boeser would consider Edmonton if they could make that work”
The craziest part about the whole thing is that Boeser reportedly is even willing to take less to go to a Canucks rival instead of coming back to the Canucks, especially after they have not been able to find any suitable trade partners.
