The Boston Bruins have officially lost one of their top goaltending prospects to their rival in the Florida Panthers.

Whether that came via a trade, or through a signing in free agency, it was just a matter of time.

Today, the Boston Bruins officially lost a goaltender to the Florida Panthers.

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito announced today that the club has agreed to terms with goaltender Brandon Bussi on a one-year, two-way contract.

It’s unclear what the AAV to his contract is going to be, but Bill Zito announced that the Panthers signed Bussi to a one-year, two-way contract.

We’ve agreed to terms with goaltender Brandon Bussi on a one-year, two-way contract.

Another thing that isn’t clear is if he will be the back up in the NHL, or if he is going to be playing in the American Hockey League for the Panthers.
