The future of the Calgary Flames will be on display at WinSport this week.

The Flames will be hosting their annual development camp on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing together 24 prospects for mid-summer training. It’s a group that includes the team’s four first-round picks from the last two years, including Zayne Parekh and Matvei Gridin from 2024 and Cole Reschny and Cullen Potter, who were taken in the draft last weekend.

As explained by the Flames, the “purpose of the camp is to enhance each player’s development process through direction on conditioning and familiarity with the Flames organization.”

On-ice sessions will take place each day at 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., with the prospects divided into six separate groups.

Flames fans are welcome to attend the sessions and watch from the stands to get a first glance of the group that is expected to be a big part of the Flames roster as they begin their climb back towards contention over the next couple of years.
