MILWAUKEE — The NHL is returning to Milwaukee for a second time this fall.

Fiserv Forum announced Tuesday it will host a preseason game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues on Oct. 5, 2024, at 7 p.m.

The game is part of the arena’s “Home Away From Home” series. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. CT.

Milwaukee hosted its first NHL game in three decades in fall 2022, with a matchup between the Blackhawks and the Minnesota Wild. It was also the venue’s first time hosting an NHL game.

“Our players, staff and fans had such an incredible experience at Fiserv Forum two years ago, and we’re really excited to bring Blackhawks gameday back to Milwaukee this upcoming preseason,” said Jaime Faulkner, president of business operations at Chicago Blackhawks, in a press release. “This is a great opportunity for all of our fans in northern Illinois and Wisconsin to be a part of Blackhawks hockey, and there’s no better opponent to take on than a Central division rival, the St. Louis Blues, in this special matchup before we meet again at the Winter Classic in December.”

As a part of the game, Fiserv Forum said it will also host pre-game celebrations for fans in Deer District and the entertainment plaza. It will include Blackhawks celebrity appearances, live music, photo opportunities and more.
