We’ve got some movement within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
As is often the case in the days following July 1st, the focus shifts to reinforcing organizational depth in case of injuries with the Canadiens – and that’s exactly what the Habs are doing.
Just hours after adding a new defenseman..
Another player is unfortunately packing his bags and leaving the organization.
Zack Hayes’ Time with the Montreal Canadiens Organization Has Come to an End
He’ll continue his career with the Milwaukee Admirals, part of the Nashville Predators organization.
The Laval Rocket has officially confirmed Zack Hayes’ departure:
Zack Hayes leaves the Rocket for a better opportunity to play in Milwaukee.
– Anthony Marcotte
We wish him all the best moving forward.
Hayes, 26, is a 6-foot-3, 227-pound left-shot defenseman who recorded 8 points in 46 games with the Laval Rocket, along with 51 penalty minutes and a solid +7 rating.
He also picked up 12 penalty minutes during Laval’s recent playoff run in the AHL.
Quietly, Zack Hayes has three games of NHL experience, all with the Vegas Golden Knights.
