During his introductory press conference with the Vegas Golden Knights, former Leafs star Mitch Marner accidentally confirmed tampering from Vegas players.During his introductory press conference, however, Marner accidentally alluded to those allegations having some truth after he revealed he had discussed things about Vegas with his now teammates Adin Hill and Mark Stone while playing together at the 4-Nations Faceoff.

“Just talking to Adin Hill and Stoney (Mark Stone) at the 4-Nations about the living style and everything”

While Marner attempted to walk back his comments, saying his conversations had nothing to do with playing in Vegas, but rather getting to know the guys, Leafs Nation is reading between the lines and noting that it is seemingly when he decided he was done in Toronto.
