An Alfred man is expected in court Monday to face charges stemming from an incident at the 7 Jackson’s Corner Store in Lyman over the weekend. According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, 64-year-old Randy Marcotte of Alfred was arrested after reports of a man accosting and fighting with people at the store. Police said witnesses reported that Marcotte was chasing people with a hockey stick and with his pickup truck on Saturday. Police arrested Marcotte sometime later during a traffic stop, during which police found weapons that violated his previous bail conditions. During a search, police say they found two knives, a makeshift club, a hatchet and a set of nunchucks.Marcotte now faces charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, violating bail-related conditions and driving to endanger.
