The New Jersey Devils have a new play-by-play voice on television for MSG, and it is a familiar name to local sports fans.
MSG Networks announced Don La Greca for the role on July 7. He will join longtime color analyst Ken Daneyko in the booth.
La Greca, a native of Hawthorne, has been on the ESPN Radio airwaves since 2001, and he joined Yankees announcer Michael Kay as a co-host of the “Michael Kay Show” in 2002. He now is part of “Don, Hahn and Rosenberg” on weekday afternoons.
He also served as a play-by-play voice for the New York Rangers on MSG Radio Networks since 2005.
La Greca replaces Bill Spaulding after the latter spent the last three seasons calling Devils games on MSG.
