Blues at Jets odds

Series tied 3-3

Philip Broberg opened the scoring in the first, and Cole Perfetti’s power-play goal made it 1-1 in the second. But then the Blues ran up the score. Nathan Walker, from Broberg, gave St. Louis the lead. Less than a minute later, Brayden Schenn scored off the rush. Just over a minute later, Cam Fowler shot the puck through a lot of traffic in front to make it 4-1. Alexey Toropochenko made it 5-1 before the second ended.

Connor Hellebuyck was pulled after two periods for the third straight game, and the Jets didn’t have the offensive juice to come back. Now this series will require a Game 7. The home team has won every game in this series, but that isn’t reassuring enough for the Jets. Mark Scheifele is a game-time decision, and there are bigger questions in net. The defense hasn’t been perfect, but Hellebuyck, who tends to be otherworldly in the regular season, is once again struggling in the playoffs.
