The second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs begins on May 5 as the NHL’s playoffs march closer to awarding hockey’s top prize.
The league has released the initial schedule for three of the semifinal matchups in the Eastern Conference and Western Conference. The fourth matchup is pending the result of the Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues series, which concludes on May 4 with Game 7 in Winnipeg.

Already securing their entrance into the second round are the Toronto Maple Leafs, Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, Washington Capitals, Edmonton Oilers, Vegas Golden Knights, and Dallas Stars
