Panthers Forward Matthew Tkachuk Takes Shot at Maple Leafs Ahead of Second Round Series

Leafs Nation is hopeful that this time around will be slightly closer after the Panthers beat the Leafs in 5 games in 2023, with some help from Radko Gudas.
Leading up to Game 1 on Monday night, Tkachuk joined Pat McAfee on Friday afternoon to hype up their second round series. Asked about media noise about the Leafs, Tkachuk saw an opportunity and took it.
“It’s round two. We’ve been in way more high pressure games and series’ than this.”
The series hasn’t even started yet and the Panthers are giving the Leafs bulletin board material to use for some extra motivation.
After disposing of Brady Tkachuk, the Leafs will have to be at their best if they want to dispose of a second Tkachuk and advance past the second round for the first time since 2002.
