Good morning, folks. Never accuse the Vegas Golden Knights of being complacent. After a second-round exit against the Edmonton Oilers, the Golden Knights fully revamped their roster, getting meaner and more skilled. They brought in three new players, each one designed to fill a specific role. And, in doing so, they completely changed their outlook on next season.

Elsewhere in the Daily Nuggets, the New York Islanders could deal star goaltender Ilya Sorokin. The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Edmonton Oilers pulled off a late-night prospect swap. Gavin McKenna officially committed to Penn State, and the Pittsburgh Penguins shouldn’t sell off their best asset.

Golden Knights News

After a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Edmonton Oilers, things were looking dire for the Golden Knights. Now, on paper, they’re a better, more formidable team than they were three months ago. Of course, only time will tell whether or not that comes to fruition. But for now, it’s easy to look at the Golden Knights roster and see that they brought in each new player to fill a specific role.
