Calgary Flames prospect and first-rounder forward Cullen Potter has been named to Team USA’s roster for the 2025 World Junior Summer Showcase.

The 18-year-old was the 32nd and final pick of the first round less than two weeks ago.

Potter is a product of the U.S. National Team Development Program where he scored 17 goals and 46 points in 54 games for the U-17 Team in 2023-24. He also represented the States in the 2023 U-17 World Hockey Challenge where he led the tournament in assists, and in the 2025 U-18 World Championships where he scored four goals and eight points in seven games enroute to a bronze medal.

The tournament runs from July 27 to Aug. 2 and also consists of Canada, Sweden and Finland. Canada and USA will clash on the final day.

Games will be played in Minnesota at the Xcel Energy Center and 3M Arena At Marriucci.
