The Dallas Stars announced the signing of forward Antonio Stranges to a one -year, two-way contract beginning in the 2025-2026 season.

Stranges, a Stars fourth-round selection in the 2020 NHL draft, spent last season with the team’s AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars.

The 23-year-old from Plymouth, Mich. scored 43 points (18 goals, 25 assists) in 55 games in the AHL last year, setting career highs across the board. In his 138-game AHL career with the Texas Stars, Stranges has tallied 79 points (33 goals, 46 assists).

Stranges’ signing is the latest move in a busy offseason for general manager Jim Nill and the Stars. The team has already made significant moves like trading Mason Marchment to Seattle and re-signing captain Jamie Benn and 30-goal scorer Matt Duchene. They also made several depth moves on the forward line, including re-signing Colin Blackwell and bringing back longtime Star Radek Faksa.
