The Nashville Predators traded up in the 2025 NHL Draft on June 27 for their second first-round selection.
They traded their Nos. 23 and 67 overall picks to the Ottawa Senators for the No. 21 overall pick, then used that to take Kitchener (OHL) defenseman Cameron Reid.

Reid, 18, is a left-handed defenseman who had 54 points (14 goals, 40 assists) in 67 games last season.
Reid joins No. 5 overall pick Brady Martin as the Predators‘ first-round selections on Friday with one selection to go, at No. 26 overall.
