COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Blue Jackets announced Friday that they have acquired center Luke Kunin from the San Jose Sharks.

They exchanged a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft for the 27-year-old who has had 73 goals and 69 assists during his time in the league, according to a press release from the team.

“Luke is a versatile forward who can play down the middle or on the wing, kills penalties and has tremendous character and work ethic,” said Don Waddell, president of hockey operations and general manager for the Blue Jackets. “He has been a very consistent player throughout his career, and we think he’ll be a good addition to our club.”

Columbus play against the New York Rangers at 6 p.m. Sunday.
