After taking them down in six games to claim their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, the Florida Panthers’ latest rematch with the Edmonton Oilers is set for Nov. 22 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.
What should be a highly-anticipated rematch of the past two Stanley Cup Finals was announced on Wednesday, when the NHL released the full schedule for the 2025-26 regular season. They’ll also face off again at Rogers Place in Edmonton on March 19, 2026.
The Panthers will start their title defense by raising their latest championship banner and hosting the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL’s season opener on Oct. 7, as part of a schedule that is heavy with home games in the first half, and back-loaded with multiple road trips in the second half.
In addition to their rematch with Edmonton, the first half of Panthers’ regular season will be headlined by their meeting with the New York Rangers on Jan. 2, 2026, at the NHL Winter Classic, the first outdoor game in Panthers’ franchise history, that will be played at loanDepot Park in Miami.
Their rivalry with the Tampa Bay Lightning will be renewed on Nov. 15, when the Panthers host the first of four games versus the Lightning. And they’ll host the Carolina Hurricanes on Dec. 19, before facing them again on the road four days later on 12/23.
