LEWISTON, ID – Saturday, July 19th, the Lewis-Clark Amateur Hockey Association is doing something by hosting a fundraiser to support the LC Ice Arena.
Dusty Bly, the Director of Fundraising for the LCAHA, shares what the Lewis-Clark Amateur Hockey Association is.
“It is a volunteer non-profit; it is what runs the LC ice arena, but we also run the ice arena and all the programs that it encompasses, as well as open skating,” Bly said.
The association is hosting a car wash open to the public to raise funds.
“We have the Rinse for the Rinks, which is the car wash that is coming up this Saturday, July 19th, it is from 10 am to 1 pm at Kosmo salon. It is just a carwash by donation, kids and parents will be out there washing cars,” Bly said.
Bly isn’t a stranger to these kinds of events.
“I just love how the community shows up, the volunteers show up, and how much fun the kids have. I just love seeing it all come together,” Bly said.
If you miss this fundraiser, another one is coming up.
The Slapshot Scramble Golf tournament is a 9-hole four-person scramble golf event.
All the proceeds from these fundraisers will go back to the LC Ice Area for rink maintenance and upgrades.
