Jeff Gorton Confirms Canadiens Are Actively Working on a Trade for a Centerman

In the past few hours, Montreal Canadiens Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations, Jeff Gorton, gave a very interesting interview to RG Media.
He touched on several topics and notably confirmed that serious work is underway within the Montreal Canadiens organization to complete a trade for a centerman.
The Canadiens are working on finalizing a trade for a centerman

The Kraken are one of the very few NHL teams with a significant surplus of centermen, and it’s clear they will need to trade one or two.
So I really wouldn’t be surprised if there are currently discussions underway between Seattle and Montreal involving a centerman.
