So it looks like the EA Sports team fixed a lot of their TeamBuilder issues so I was finally able to complete this little side project I’ve been working on over the last year.
I basically recreated us in TB but gave us our old throwback uniforms – picked late 90s and mid-2000s as those are my favorites. Obviously not 1×1 and I took plenty of liberties (like creating a black version of our Block C in circle helmet)
The only annoying part about TB is you can’t just create a bunch of helmets, jerseys, and pants separately and mix them however you want. You have to build out full uniform sets—like home, away, alternate, etc—and set the combos yourself. So some of the combos I made aren’t exactly what we wore at the time, but the pieces are all close. Once you’re in the game you can mix and match them however you want.
I also ran out of uniform options to make the black one from 2006, but I may just split these up down the road if I choose. for the field
Best part is you have an online dynasty you can use this to replace the current team, and you can keep the current roster. So winning a natty in my favorite throwbacks all season has been fun.
