Mikey DeAngelis | Onward State
Guy Gadowsky has picked up another big time recruit for Penn State men’s hockey, as he landed the commitment of five-star forward Luke Misa on Monday.
Misa, a fifth-round pick of the Calgary Flames in 2024, has been a star in the Ontario Hockey League over the past couple of seasons.
After an 81-point campaign with the Mississauga Steelheads in 2023-24, Misa spent his first post-draft year with the Brampton Steelheads, scoring 34 goals and notching 85 total points in 67 games. Both totals were top-20 in the OHL. The 20-year-old joins a program looking to improve on its first-ever Frozen Four appearance.
The Ontario native has a younger brother, Michael, who plays for the Saginaw Spirits in the OHL. Michael Misa is expected to be a high first-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.
