LAURINBURG, N.C. (WPDE) — A paratrooper was airlifted to the hospital on Monday afternoon
The Golden Knights paratrooper was airlifted to a trauma center after being hurt during a training mission at the Laurinburg Maxton Airport, according to officials with the Scotland County Emergency Services.
The nature of the incident hasn’t been released.

Officials said the fire department also responded to the scene.
