The Buffalo Sabres and a few prominent figures in the Western New York area will be together tomorrow to make a big announcement on Wednesday morning.

The announcement will come at 10 AM and Terry Pegula, Erie County executive Mark Poloncarz, Buffalo Mayor Chris Scanlon and Keycorp CEO Chris Gorman will be in attendance.

Many Buffalo Sabres fans are thinking that it is just an extension of the partnership that the Buffalo Sabres have with Key Bank. Of course because the key Bank CEO will be there that seems to be a dead giveaway. Many other fans think that there might be some improvements on the horizon as well to the arena.

The Buffalo Sabres have not made it to the National Hockey League playoffs in 14 years. We decided to roll the dice and get back in the game and get season tickets again for the first time in 15 years. Before you criticize me or think that it’s crazy eventually they have to break the longest drought in professional sports to make it into the playoffs. It just has to happen. The only other team to have a playoff drought that long Right now is the New York Jets. Either way, when we were buying our season tickets in order to become a season ticket member now you have to go to the arena and actually go look at your seats and do the tour. The tour includes the press box, your seat the locker room and so forth. But we were unable to do our tour because our buffalo rep said that there was going to be some major changes happening inside of the arena specifically to where the seats were so that there were not able to do the tour.

Maybe this is just the announcement tomorrow? Maybe it’s not that big of an announcement? Either way fans are holding on and hoping that it might be something that might just shed some light and hope on this year’s season.
