WATERTOWN — The Watertown Wolves revealed a new logo and color scheme on its Facebook page and website Friday ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The Wolves’ two new logos, a wolf head and a paw print, along with the Wolves wordmark, each feature a red, white and blue color scheme, moving away from the blue, white and silver colors over the last several years.

The new Wolves logo displays a glowering wolf, looking to its left with bright, yellow eyes and bared teeth.

The paw print logo shows a paw in white against a blue shield, bordered in black. A blue ‘W’ appears on the paw palm, with a tree-line river underneath.

The Wolves’ wordmark comes in two versions, one with a plain white background and one with a backdrop that features pine forest in winter under a starlit night.

The Wolves website said that the new look is “bold” and “refreshed” and “honors both our roots and our future.”

The site said the red represents the team’s support for Fort Drum.

“Our new logo keeps the spirit of the Wolves alive, with a more aggressive, modern edge,” the site said. “We’ve stayed true to what’s been ours since 2014 — but made it unmistakably Watertown. No more “that looks like a college team” — this is our identity.”

The Wolves are schedule to open the season Friday, Oct. 10 against the Binghamton Black Bears in Binghamton. Their first home game is the next night against Binghamton at the Fairgrounds Arena.
