On the list of players were two members of the Jets and three local Manitobans.

Defenceman Josh Morrissey – who played a key role on the blue line for Canada’s Four Nations Face-off gold medal-winning team – is back in the fold, while forward Mark Scheifele – who proved to be the biggest snub from that Four Nations roster – has also been invited to camp.

The camp will run from August 26-28 in Calgary in advance of this winter’s  2026 Olympic Winter Games, which will be played in Milano Cortina, Italy from February 11-22.
