Miro Heiskanen isn’t the only Dallas Stars defenseman to get married recently.

Nils Lundkvist tied the knot with his wife Malin Norén in his home country of Sweden, according to a social media post from the venue of the wedding.

Lundkvist, who just turned 25 years old in July, is back with the Stars on a one-year, $1.25 million extension.

He appeared to be making significant strides last season before a shoulder injury that required season-ending surgery derailed his campaign. Lundkvist was cleared for contact late in Dallas’ playoff run, but the Oilers eliminated the Stars before he could return.

Now that he’s fully healthy heading into 2025-26, Lundkvist will look to live up to the potential Jim Nill saw in him when he dealt a first-round pick and fourth-round pick for the young defenseman in 2022.
