San Jose Sharks prospect defenseman Luca Cagnoni is making waves this summer during his training.
The Vancouver area native is skating at the same facility as Macklin Celebrini and Connor Bedard. There are more NHL players participating in the Kaivo Hockey training program, including Alex Tuch, Gage Goncalves, and Kent Johnson.
For Cagnoni, being around top talent in the summertime is a bonus to his already rapid development.
On Instagram, Kaivo will post videos and pictures of their roster, including Cagnoni. The San Jose Sharks defenseman did a give-and-go with Tuch and then dangled Bedard in what turned out to be an unreal highlight play.

Cagnoni will have his work cut out for him during the Sharks’ 2025 Training camp. He was a surprise late cut during the 2024 camp and eventually made his NHL debut that season. He had two assists in six games.
