With training camp just around the corner, we are previewing each player on the LA Kings roster. Up next: Trevor Moore!

2024-25 season
The Thousand Oaks native didn’t have the 30-goal outburst he did during the 2023-24 campaign, but still had a solid season. Moore’s goal total from the previous season dipped from 31 to 18, but his shooting percentage was still good, going from 12.7 to 11.8 (his second-highest in the last five seasons).

Even with two long goal droughts of 13 and 14 games, Moore recorded 40 points (18 G, 22 A) in 71 games, giving LA good production in their middle-six group. Moore also saw time on the power play and the penalty kill, and finished second among Kings forwards in total minutes shorthanded, according to Natural Stat Trick.
2025-26 outlook
Moore is entering year three of a five-year deal he signed in December of 2022. Expecting 15-20 goals and 40-50 points from him this season is a reasonable expectation for him, given his season totals have hovered around that range since putting on a Kings uniform. I expect him to play on the wing alongside Phillip Danault, like he always has, and play a vital role on special teams again.
